Diario al Día | Duarte, República Dominicana — Un hombre en San Francisco de Macorís protagonizó un incidente registrado la tarde de este sábado en el sector Hermanas Mirabal, donde una mujer resultó con múltiples lesiones y posteriormente el involucrado falleció en el lugar, de acuerdo con las informaciones preliminares ofrecidas sobre el caso.
El fallecido fue identificado como Robert Junior Ventura, mientras que la mujer afectada responde al nombre de Erika Santos Reyes, quien fue auxiliada tras el suceso y trasladada para recibir asistencia médica.
Santos Reyes fue llevada inicialmente al Centro Médico Siglo 21 y luego referida al Hospital Regional Universitario Dr. Ángel María Gatón, ubicado en el sector Guiza, donde permanece bajo atención de profesionales de la salud.
Según los datos preliminares recopilados en torno al caso, la mujer habría presentado al menos 15 lesiones provocadas con un objeto de tipo cortopunzante en diferentes partes de su cuerpo.
Entre las consecuencias reportadas figura la afectación de uno de sus ojos, situación que forma parte de las evaluaciones médicas realizadas.
El hecho ocurrió en el sector Hermanas Mirabal de San Francisco de Macorís, una zona donde residentes manifestaron sorpresa ante lo ocurrido durante la tarde de este sábado.
