Diario al Día | La Altagracia, República Dominicana — El sargento policial de Higüey Severino Hernández Jhonniz falleció la mañana de este sábado luego de permanecer varios días ingresado en el Hospital Traumatológico de Higüey, donde recibía atención médica por las lesiones que experimentó tras un accidente de tránsito ocurrido en esta ciudad.
El agente, perteneciente a la Policía Nacional, fue identificado como Severino Hernández Jhonniz, quien resultó afectado en un hecho registrado en las proximidades del Obispado de Higüey, una zona ubicada en el centro de la ciudad cabecera de la provincia La Altagracia.
De acuerdo con las informaciones preliminares conocidas hasta el momento, el sargento fue trasladado al centro hospitalario traumatológico, donde permaneció bajo cuidados médicos durante varios días debido a las condiciones derivadas del accidente.
