Diario al Día | Espaillat, República Dominicana — Un hombre dejó de existir la tarde de este domingo en la comunidad de Quebrada Honda tras experimentar un altercado físico de gran magnitud, en un lugar que residentes señalan como un presunto punto de venta de sustancias ilícitas.
La víctima fue identificada como Anjeury Ramón Muñoz, de 40 años, quien partida a causa de las lesiones contusas recibidas durante el hecho ocurrido en Quebrada Honda.
Según versiones que circularon entre residentes, un hombre identificado como Ericsson habría propinado un golpe con un objeto de gran tamaño de madera en la cabeza a Muñoz, lo que le causó lesiones que resultaron decisivos en su partida.
Hasta el momento, las autoridades no han informado sobre la captura del señalado ni que este se haya entregado voluntariamente a la justicia.
Tras el suceso, comunitarios de Quebrada Honda expresaron su firme rechazo a la presencia del presunto punto de sustancias que, según denuncian, opera en la zona desde hace tiempo.
Residentes manifestaron indignación y exigieron a las autoridades el desmantelamiento inmediato de estas actividades, señalando que generan un ambiente de inseguridad constante en Quebrada Honda.
Los vecinos también solicitaron a las autoridades investigar el caso a fondo, identificar a los responsables y actuar contra las operaciones ilícitas denunciadas en la comunidad.
Al lugar acudieron miembros de la Policía Nacional, representantes del Ministerio Público y el médico legista, quien ordenó el traslado del cuerpo al INACIF en Santiago.
Una fuente oficial en el lugar explicó la situación así: "Tenemos un fenecido, según la versión que manejamos, el joven fue perjudicado por una gente indeterminada, recibiendo un golpe en la espalda y en la cabeza, pero no manejamos la situación, qué fue lo que pasó, qué fue lo que llevó a eso".
La misma fuente agregó: "Supuestamente con un objeto le dieron. Eso es lo que manejamos, que fue perjudicado, pero no sabemos con qué".
Sobre la identidad de la víctima, la fuente indicó: "El nombre no lo tengo en cuenta, no tengo ahora aquí, pero los familiares andan ahí y le da más o menos la edad de los 40 años".
Consultada sobre las causas del hecho ocurrido en Quebrada Honda, la fuente respondió: "No hay, varias versiones, donde ahora mismo que estamos haciendo levantamiento no le podría decir específicamente cuáles fueron, por qué motivo o quiénes fueron".
Las autoridades informaron que la investigación permanece abierta para esclarecer las circunstancias exactas de lo sucedido en Quebrada Honda y determinar responsabilidades.
El caso se suma a las preocupaciones que desde hace tiempo mantienen los residentes de Quebrada Honda sobre la seguridad en su comunidad.
